The ARBORTECH 100mm Sanding Discs 240 Grit are premium Hook & Loop abrasive discs designed for fine sanding and final surface preparation before applying oils, waxes or other wood finishes. Specifically developed for the ARBORTECH Power Carving Unit™, these genuine sanding discs deliver a smooth, consistent finish while maintaining excellent durability and flexibility.
Manufactured with a heavy-duty cloth backing, the discs resist heat build-up and wear during extended sanding sessions. Their flexible construction allows them to conform to gently curved surfaces while maintaining even sanding pressure, making them ideal for bowls, sculptures, furniture, live-edge slabs and other detailed woodworking projects.
The 240 grit abrasive is perfect for removing the fine sanding marks left by 180 grit discs and preparing timber for its final finish. When used with the ARBORTECH 100mm Sanding Pad, they provide fast disc changes and professional-quality results on both hardwood and softwood.

Use the 240 grit discs as the final sanding stage after 180 grit to achieve a smooth, uniform surface before applying Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C or any other wood finish.
For the best finish, keep the sanding pad flat against the workpiece and avoid excessive pressure. Let the abrasive do the work to minimise swirl marks and maximise disc life.
