💡 Professional Tip
For the best surface finish, always sand progressively through the grit sequence instead of skipping directly to fine grits. Start with 40 or 80 grit for shaping, continue with 120 and 180 grit for smoothing, then finish with 240 or 400 grit before applying Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C or your preferred wood finish.
Replacing the sanding disc as soon as it begins to lose its cutting efficiency will reduce heat build-up, improve finish quality and extend the life of your backing pad.
