Description
Plastering, waterproofing for vertical and horizontal surfaces, based on a special category of elastomeric resins (silane resins), which polymerizes into an elastic and cohesive mass when it comes into contact with the environment.
Lastoflex ST exhibits excellent adhesion to all known building materials.
It has the ability to cover microcracks, dries very quickly, and is excellently resistant to aging, sunlight, and weather conditions.
It does not form bubbles, regardless of coating thickness (like polyurethane-based coatings)Recommended for waterproofing surfaces.
Due to the high hydrophobicity of the final membrane, it is recommended for waterproofing difficult cases, such as inverted thermal insulation, surfaces with stagnant water, terraces, planters, etc. Suitable for the protection and waterproofing of terraces with polyurethane foam insulation. It is an ideal solution for insulating surfaces made of concrete, bricks, slabs, tiles, plaster, metals,plastic.
Special Applications and Limitations:
Lastoflex ST should not be applied directly to asphalt-based surfaces such as asphaltic membrane, shingles, etc.
In such cases, a first coat of Lastocryl-R is required on the surface, in order to create an adhesion bridge between the asphalt substrate and Lastoflex ST.
